India Lounge is a kaleidoscope of India, a celebration of its diverse cultures, vivid hues and age old craft. An assembly of three distinct lounges, it is a vibrant collage of all that India is !
The magnificent and interactive Pillars of wisdom
extend a warm greeting at the entrance, leading the way to a space with so much to explore !

As the name suggests, the ART LOUNGE
brings together art furniture, fine art and sculpture.
One can witness dramatic art furniture from Within at every corner,
unfolding unusual narratives and crafts of the subcontinent - from the picturesque valley of Kashmir to the mesmerising backwaters of Kerala, from the streets of Rajasthan to the monasteries of Ladakh !

A tribute to the architecture marvels
and geographical wonders of India, each ingredient
of the space talks about the overwhelming beauty of India !

The colours are bold, echoing the spirit of this greatly vibrant nation. There are handpicked antiques everywhere , some showcased as collections and some which are a part of a one of a kind furniture piece ! The Art Lounge sums up the essence of Indian traditions and wisdom as a contemporary translation.

The Library Lounge is created around the beauty of the hills of India, in the form of an eclectic library.
Handpicked books find their place all over the cosy room - the book unit on one corner, and the gigantic lamp library on the other.

The library lounge
has a lot of elements of wilderness
that remind us of the mountains.
The ‘Mussoorie Library’ fireplace, based on Ruskin Bond’s life and books, sits on a panelled wood wall as the hero of this space. It is the centre of attention, with 29 book covers designed around the author’s life, all carved in stone !

And some curious and interactive elements like the ‘Saamp Seedi’ table around the assorted collection of comfortable chairs !

The third lounge is the cheery Garden Lounge ! With references from Indian gardens, flora and fauna, this space is light and playful.

‘Sacred Petals’, the centrepiece, is a console, art and accent - all in one. It is an amalgamation of the auspicious flowers of India like the marigold and dhatura.

The ‘Birds in my garden’ art inspired by Indian stamps complements the illustrated wallpaper so beautifully, bringing together 12 different species of Indian birds.

The lively lounge in pastel hues is a reminder of springtime, with added dollops of whimsy..
